Modification Ferrari 900 DOHC sporty & Elegan Style by Kay

Modification of the ferrari motorcycle look very elegant and sporty for everyday driving, is a David Kay’s idea to create a new innovation that is the Ferrari 900 DOHC, all started when David Kay wrote to Enzo Ferrari’s son Piero, requesting to build a single-sport bike off the famous Prancing Horse badge in tribute to his late father. In a letter dated Maranello, May 23, 1990 and signed by P. Ferrari ‘s own (including in the press and complete information about many of these files) Kay received:’ approval to put a Ferrari badge to your bike and hope he’s successful project.

Ferrari 900 Modification Project

When the famous teacher MV Agusta David Kay set about building a unique piece of engineering from the beginning, he saw on both future and past, for he thought of what might have been if Ferrari will decide to produce atau GT endurance racing machine. Kay was inspired by the fact that Enzo has started racing at Scott two-stroke engine and projects representing more than 3,000 hours of work was launched.

Ferrari 900 Modification Engine

Machinery is ‘early developed’ 900cc, transverse, double overhead camshaft, four cylinder, eight-valve unit with the casing and magnesium alloy, driven through the five speed gearbox. Tubular chassis is made from Reynolds 531 tubing, techniques on a motorcycle without spot and detail is quite startling. Attention to this quite remarkable, with a master cylinder built into the obvious one of the digital instrument panel and again beautifully illustrated with steering damper. Terry Hall, who also produce double curvature reverse cone megaphone, making the entire bodywork of aluminum.

Ferrari 900 Modification Piston

Kay’s own words are too beautiful to only exhaust from the engine into the atmosphere, ‘the noise is like chasing Messerschmitt Spitfire’. Front end is very contemporary in conception to the upside down forks Forcelle Italy, large twin piston Brembo disc brakes front and rear (6 to pot calipers front, 4 back) and special 17 inch wheels Astralite hand spinning.
